Big Win by Big Gulp!

Another winner by Gators N Bears

Oh My!

Big Gulp, a bay filly by Gators N Bears out of Repast, by Formal Dinner won a maiden race on the dirt at Charles Town. The filly broke sharp, cleared early and kept clear at the eight and won by keeping to task. She could not be caught! GIving Gators N Bears another winner on the dirt. The Filly was breed by Mr. Mrs Charles McGinnes and foaled in Maryland. Our congratulation go out to the McGinnes and owners Figgins, III, C.A. and Ollie L.

Gators N Bears is a multiple graded stakes-winning son of Stormy Atlantic, who earned $804,393 and comes from the family of millionaire FRIENDLY LOVER. He stands for $5,000 live foal at Bonita Farm in Darlington, MD, under the Maryland Stallion Station banner.

Heavens to Murgatroid!

Two starters.  Two demanding wins.

Fantastic?

Nope Fantasticat.

Fantasticat has started his stud career off in fine fashion with two runners and two winners. The most recent winner, Heavenstmurgatroid, out of the Norquestor mare, Sally Q, won a maiden race on the turf at Colonial Downs. The bay colt broke alertly and immediately went to the lead and led the entire way winning by two lengths. This beautiful moving colt was bred in Maryland by David DiPietro and Herbert A. May III. Congratulations to the winning owner, Warwick Stable, and the winning trainer, Ferris Allen.

As you begin to think about the 2010 breeding season, Fantasticat should be high on your list of prospects. He was a winner on the dirt and the turf and his first two runners, Heavenstmurgatroid and Fantasyland, won on the turf and the dirt. He is a sire for all surfaces. Call Don Litz at 443-253-2856 or go to www.marylandstallions.com for more information.

FANTASTICAT is a Grade 2-winning son of STORM CAT from the family of millionaire STEPHAN'S ODYSSEY, champion TOSMAH, and sires HALO and CANNONADE. He stands for Maryland Stallion Station commanding a $4,500 live foal at Bonita Farm .

Outflanker and Gators N Bears
Continue Their Winning Ways

This past weekend was another successful one for the daughters of Outflanker and Gators N Bears. Marina Ballerina led the entire way to win the U Can Do It Handicap at Calder Race Course for her second stakes win in the last month. She has two stakes wins and a placing in three starts in 2009. Congratulations to her owners/breeders, Robert and Linda Pastor. We look forward to more success for this very speedy daughter of Outflanker.

Gators N Bears has had two starts by his offspring, both by Ally Bear and both wins. The win on Friday evening in an allowance race at Colonial Downs was on the turf giving her a win on both the dirt and the turf. This filly runs for Janet Wayson having been selected by her late husband Morgan at auction shortly before his death. Congratulations to Mrs. Wayson and trainer, Jerry Robb, as well as breeders, Michael DeSaye and Glenn and Becky Brok, who raised the filly.

With the breeding season drawing to a close, it is still possible to breed to Outflanker and Gators N Bears. Please call Don Litz at 410-771-4894 or 443-253-2856. An open mare could be your missed opportunity.

~ Gators N Bears' Two Year Old is New York Clocker's Choice

Gators N Bears:

In the current economy you can not afford to stand still. With 50 two year olds in training, Gators N Bears is a rising star; breed your mare now before his stud fee becomes out of reach.

The Gators N Bears' two year old filly, Captain Leonidis, out of Triple Pro, bred by leading Maryland breeders, Dr. Tom Bowman and Tom Sutton, had an eye opening work at Aqueduct in New York. She went 3/8ths in 36.2, one of the fastest works for a juvenile this spring in New York. Trainer, Joe Aquillino, says "She worked a little faster than I wanted, but did it so easily two weeks away from a race."

~ Rodney Jenkins and Kenny LeJeune Sound Off On Fantasticat's Two Years Olds

Fantasticat:

Top Trainers have noticed that Fantasticat's two year olds are stirring up a lot of enthusiasm and are looking toward his promising future as one of Maryland's top sires.

Kenneth M. Lejeune, Ocala, Florida:
Lejeune is currently training a Fantasticat colt out of Miss Dreamland, dam of multiple winners, including a G2 and G3 winner. Lejeune thinks so highly of this colt's athleticism and the other Fantasticat offspring that he has seen, that he is sending a stake winning mare, Fiesta Napkin, to Fantasticat's court this year.

Rodney Jenkins, Laurel Park, Maryland:
Jenkins trains Pres On, a Fantasticat Colt out of Wumps, dam of multiple winners and of the Sham Say family. Jenkins took a second and third look at the colt at The Fasig-Tipton Sale at Timonium and now has a promising colt to train. Jenkins quoted while watching Pres On come down the stretch, "I love the way he moves across the track."

A colt can not ask for more of a compliment from such respected horsemen.

Looking for an appreciating pregnancy in '09? Breed to Fantasticat!
